The van is wider than the ute, and the factory mirrors show you the side of the van and not much else. Towing mirrors put the road behind and beside the van back in view, so merging, changing lanes and backing onto a site stop being guesswork.
We fit MSA 4x4 and Clearview towing mirrors, each made for a specific vehicle, at our Miami workshop. This page lists 13 MSA 4x4 models and 3 Clearview models by vehicle, with part numbers and the maker's RRP for the mirrors.
Why towing mirrors
Towing mirrors help you see past a wide trailer or caravan. When the van blocks your view of the road behind in the standard mirrors, an extended mirror head sits far enough out to see down the side of it. A reversing camera helps when you are backing up, but it shows what is directly behind the vehicle, not the lane beside the van. If you tow something wide, ask us and we'll talk through what suits your vehicle and how you travel.
Extendable mirrors push out for towing and pull back in for everyday driving, so the same set works on the school run and on the trip north with the van.
Keep the features your vehicle came with
Power fold, heated glass, indicators, blind spot monitoring and camera provision are kept on the models that list them, and each card below shows the features its maker lists. A feature only works if your vehicle had it from the factory: MSA notes a mirror with blind spot monitoring won't work on a vehicle whose original mirrors lack it. Tell us your model, grade and build date and we match the mirror to it.
MSA 4x4 and Clearview mirrors, side by side
Both brands make towing mirrors for specific vehicles. They differ in how the glass is laid out and how the head adjusts, so the choice usually comes down to your model and the features you want.
MSA 4x4
Four mirror positions with vertical and horizontal adjustment

Towing mirrors by vehicle
MSA part numbers shown are the black version; where MSA makes a chrome version, its part number is in the fits line. Where a line shows a range, such as TM700 to TM757, the exact part depends on your model, grade and features, and we confirm it before we order.
On the MY24 LandCruiser 70, Clearview notes the driver's side needs flat glass, which its Next Gen design already meets, and there is no mirror indicator option because the indicators are on the guards.
Prices are each maker's published RRP for the part, checked 21 October 2026, plus fitment (excl. freight). Prices on request are quoted for your vehicle. Ask for your fitted price and we text it to you within one business day.

Questions we get asked
Do I need towing mirrors?
If your caravan or trailer is wider than your vehicle and blocks your view of the road behind, towing mirrors help you see past it. A reversing camera shows what is directly behind you, not the lane beside the van. Tell us your vehicle and what you tow and we'll tell you what suits.
Will towing mirrors keep my factory features?
The models we list keep the features named in their description, such as power fold, heating, indicators, blind spot monitoring or camera provision. Those features only work if your vehicle had them from the factory. MSA notes a mirror with blind spot monitoring won't work on a vehicle whose original mirrors lack it.
What is the difference between MSA 4x4 and Clearview mirrors?
MSA uses one large mirror lens with four mirror positions, and the head folds in or out when bumped. Clearview's Next Gen design pairs a large flat top mirror with a convex lower mirror and extends up to 180 mm with three positions. Both are made for specific vehicles, so the choice comes down to your model and the features you want.
Which towing mirrors suit a current Ranger or Everest?
MSA lists its TM2650 Power Fold mirrors for the Ranger PY and Everest UB from June 2022 on, and the TM2654 for the Ranger Super Duty. Clearview lists its Next Gen mirrors for the Ranger PY and Everest from MY22 to MY25. We check your build date before we order.
Can I leave towing mirrors on when I'm not towing?
Yes. Extendable towing mirrors push out for towing and pull back in for everyday driving, so one set suits both. Each model above lists how its head adjusts.
